Melba Flora Hatter and all that Jazz!

Good afternoon!  I hope you are all having a lovely Monday!  It's a beautiful day here in Athens.  Today we sadly waved goodbye to our visitors.  It was so so nice to have family visiting us all the way from Australia.  It's not often that we get visitors over here in Athens!  We had a lovely time and it was fantastic to see our  not so little 2 year old niece again!

News:
Did you see over at Pollycraft Monday that our challenges will now be changing to fortnightly instead of weekly?  That means that the current challenge, A Card and a Matching Tag has been extended for another week.

Over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps, we have split the Design Team into two... The Challenge team will continue to bring you challenges and new releases and the Inspirational Project Team will be bringing you additional Little Miss Muffet inspirational posts each week on a Monday.  Head on over and check out our first post!

Today, I shared this card I made using Melba Flora Hatter:

The paper is a bit of a mixture from my stash from October Afternoon, Crate Paper and a mystery company.  I thought the jazz paper was a perfect match for this happy Hatter!  the chipboard flourish is from Make it Crafty and I added some Liquid Pearls to it for interest.  The stitching was done on my sewing machine.

This image was coloured on X-press it cardstock and while I found it generally behaves very similarly to the laser copier cardstock I normally use, I think it can take a few more layers of colour without it pooling on top, so I think once my stash of laser paper is finished I will be changing.

Here's a close-up of Melba Flora Hatter:

And here are the copics I used:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Great Impressions: Anything Goes
The Squirrel and the Fox #17: One for the Girls

Have a lovely day!  And don't forget we have new releases at Little Miss Muffet stamps on Thursday (find out what you need to do to have a chance to win them HERE) and a May Flowers challenge running this fortnight!
